TRAVEL TIPS
Before traveling, it's important to remember...
- For a safer way of transport, you must use Ubers.
Uber offers
you different security measures, such as real-time tracking, and shares your
location with your family and friends, making Uber much safer than traveling by
taxi or alone.
- You should create a schedule to know what places to visit and how to get to them.
- When you visit a museum, take a guided tour! In that way you will be able to learn a lot more about the history of Colombia.
If you go
to a museum in Medellin, without a doubt you SHOULD take a guided tour; in this
way you will be able to learn a lot more about what the museum and both
Colombia's history and culture have to offer you!
- You should take a jacket with you on each one of your visits, because the nights in Medellín are really cold.
Medellin
climate is pretty unpredictable; that's why if you travel around the city, it
is recommended to take a jacket or umbrella with you in case the weather gets
colder or it starts to rain.
- You should stay safe and handle money carefully.
Remember that Medellín is a big city; it is important that you are aware of your surroundings. If you are traveling alone, you MUST avoid dark or lonely streets and make every effort to protect your personal belongings while on the public road.
